Collage

One of the many things I loved about you was receiving memes, from the clingiest of videos to cute animals with a simple “Us” or “You”. Something so seemingly simple and mundane was proof that we never stopped thinking of each other, that we saw each other in the beautiful, the cute, the innocent. Even when we were busy when we couldn’t open them at once, we had something to look forward to at the end of the day, and it never failed to brighten my day and lighten my heart.

This has not changed whatsoever since we ended things, the same animals, the same memes, and the same love remain and I can’t help but collect them with the hopes we may see each other again, I can’t help but wonder, do you feel the same, do you feel me, do you feel our love when you see Winky, when you see sugar gliders, deers, and/or bunnies? Thats why I decided to create a collage of images I’ve collected since we last spoke, to use images that will forever remind me of you, that we shared hundreds of times, and the beautiful pictures I had of you. I loved and cherished every photo you sent each one made my heart race, spurred my imagination, and sent me running back to you. I know we hardly had any pictures of us together, something I deeply regret, but I hope you kept that Polaroid of us kissing, I wish I had the chance to see it, I hope that still, we may yet have space for each other to take hundreds of photos together.
